Hi, I'm Schuler.

I'm currently in Austin, Texas
After graduating from UCLA in June, 2020. I decided my career would be best served by combining my knowledge and experience of environmental business and consulting with the impact-driven potential of software development. I'm excited about all the positive change we can manifest if we work together!
I mostly work on projects that highlight what I love about the world, as well as anything that improves humans' quality of life or takes care of the planet giving us said life. When I'm not programming, I'm usually playing soccer, cultivating my garden, chasing delicious food, or absorbing stories of every medium.
My most recent project is a soccer match analytics site that uses Chart.js to dynamically show positional event data from matches in the English Premier League.
This clone of the stock trading site was built using live data from IEX Cloud's API.
This Airbnb inspired site was built with React and Google Maps with an environmentally conscious tilt.
This Medium inspired site is my first full stack application. It was built with Express, and Vanilla JavaScript & CSS.
Currently, I'm learning more about Typescript and React
I use JavaScript to build exciting, dynamic web applications
I use Python to analyze data and build robust backend servers
I use React to implement seamless user interfaces and reusable components
I use Redux to efficiently store and transfer data for easy access on the frontend
I use Express as a lightweight application framework for routing
I look to Flask when building backends in Python
I use PostgreSQL to build secure, organized relational databases
I'm constantly sharpening my CSS skills in everything from CRUD features to interactive visualizations
I'm learning to use Docker to efficiently deploy applications
I'm open to anything whether it's work, life, or footy related...
